I've always loved how art has a way of bringing people together. Growing up whether it was playing the cello, learning a new skill, or obsessing over the outfit I was going to wear, I found it fascinating how art is able to bring people together.
Now as an adult with an unhealthy addiction to coffee that needs to be addressed, those same fascinations motivates me to create inclusive user experiences that ultimately help make people's lives easier.
Outside of work, you can find me at the gym, reading a romance book, or playing with my dog.

🧽 Being a Sponge
Whether it's learning about someone's experiences or learning a new skill, I found the importance of trying to absorb as much information I can and applying it is important. I'm fortunate to be surrounded by motivated people and great mentors who provide guidance and I make sure to not take it for granted.
🎨 Embrace your creativity
Everyone needs some sort of outlet from their hectic lives. When I'm not designing, I'm either writing, creating content for Youtube, or thinking of podcast ideas with my co-hosts. We all need a little creativity that takes us off the ice a bit!
💪 Strive for Excellence
I realize that we are never perfect, but putting in our best effort will be recognized. Especially as someone who is making a career change, I realize that just doing the bare minimum won't be enough! Even if I make mistakes along the way, doing things to the best of my ability will always be put at the forefront.
👨👩👦 Make time for family
After being across the country from my family for almost 3 years, I realize how important it is to spend time with family. Now that I moved back closer to home recently, I'm trying to make up for lost time.
